Base Materials announces new distributor to support growth in European composites market
B. Beyer GmbH will distribute Base Materials’ range of epoxy and polyurethane tooling board materials and ancillary products.
Base Materials (Leicester, U.K.) has signed an agreement with Cologne-based B. Beyer GmbH to become its official distribution partner in Germany.
With Germany’s composites market for epoxy materials predicted to record a CAGR of 6.12% between 2021 and 2026, B. Beyer GmbH’s remit includes the distribution of Base Materials’ epoxy range of tooling board materials and compatible ancillary products.
B. Beyer GmbH will also help to facilitate growth in Germany’s polyurethane (PU) materials market, which is forecast to grow at 2.6% CAGR, via the distribution of Base Materials’ range of medium and abrasion-resistant, high-density PU materials with a focus on meeting demand across the automotive, aerospace, foundry, and thermoforming sectors.
“We are delighted to have B. Beyer GmbH as our lead distributor in Germany,” says Kerry Lyons, head of international sales at Base Materials. “This agreement will help us realize our ambitious growth plans to increase our footprint not just in Germany, but across wider Europe. Our strategic partnership provides the ideal platform to provide customers with country-based knowledge, locally available stock to reduce lead times and feet-on-the-ground local support.”
