Angelioni Group announces new logistics center

Angelioni Group has announced has approved the project for a new logistics center in Castano Primo (Milan, Italy). The new 1,500 square meter refrigerated area, located close to the existing impregnation plant, will bolster the storage and distribution capabilities of prepregs globally. Construction is set to commence shortly, with the center expected to be operational by June 2025.

The production site in Castano Primo hosts the pre-impregnation processes of fabrics produced by the Angeloni Group. Inaugurated in 1976 as Impregnatex Srl and part of Angeloni Group since 2002, the facility is specialized in the production of advanced composites, utilizing carbon, aramid, and glass fibers combined with special matrices based on epoxy and phenolic resins.

The site boasts a dedicated R&D department focused on the continuous development of new resin systems for pre-impregnated fabrics. Recent advancements include the development of high Tg transparent systems and structural systems suitable for autoclave, hot press molding, and wrapping applications. The facility includes a test center equipped with state-of-the-art hot presses and a cutting-edge autoclave.
